Cleaning Test
To test the cleaning performance of the EASINE W100, we used it to clean the hardwood floor of our office and studio space. While our floor isn’t the dirtiest, we do have a moderate level of foot traffic that causes some dirt and dust build-up.
The ILIFE W100 performed well, removing a good amount of dirt from the floor. I switched between the Eco and Max modes and released water as necessary. After cleaning, I noticed a significant amount of dirt in the water tank.
The W100 has dry and wet capabilities, however, it is designed for hard surfaces with mopping as its primary purpose. It can easily suck up debris as you are cleaning the floor thanks to the soft brushroll.
At the same time, it puts the debris in the same tank as dirty water. For big dry messes, a dedicated vacuum would be a better solution.
Regardless, the EASINE W100 performed well as a mop and I was happy with its overall performance.
Noise Test
To measure the noise level generated by the ILIFE W100 we let it run on each mode and measure the noise levels with a sound meter from about 3 ft. away. Additionally, we measured the noise of the self-cleaning feature.
Eco
60.8 dB
Max.
61.6 dB
Self-cleaning
63.1 dB
Our testing showed the W100 to have a noise range of 60-63 dB. This is similar to the sound of a dishwasher.
Additionally, the vacuum has a voice assistant that will notify you of the current status of the W100.
While it can be nice to know when to empty the water tank or when charging is needed, I found the voice to be quite loud. There is a way to turn off the voice assistant via a button on the back, which is a nice addition.
Common noise levels:
- 20 dB – rustling leaves
- 30 dB – whisper
- 40 dB – quiet library, babbling brook
- 50 dB – refrigerator, moderate rainfall
- 60 dB – normal conversation, dishwashers
- 70 dB – traffic, showers
- 80 dB – alarm clock, telephone dial tone
Usability Test
Usability for the ILIFE EASINE W100 is great. It’s a cordless device with a modern design and great features. The cleaning head can swivel and take tight corners.
The W100 can lay down to reach under furniture, however, not completely flat. While the device can stand on the docking station, it also can stand upright on its own.
It has a few accessories that come out of the box, here is what is included:
- W100 main body
- W100 handle
- HEPA filter
- Docking station
- Power adapter
- Cleaning tool
- Cleaning solution
Setup
Setting up the W100 took me about 5 minutes and is simple to do. The EASINE comes partially charged out of the box, however, you will want to fully charge it before cleaning.
Additional steps that are needed before using the ILIFE W100 are:
- Attaching the handle to the main body
- Plugging in the charging station
- Filling the clean water tank
Controls
There are a few control buttons located on the device. 3 of the buttons are on the handle and control the main functions of the mop.
These include:
- Power
- Change mode
- Inject water
There is also a button next to the display that starts a self cleaning cycle, and a button on the back that turns off/on the voice assistant.
Display
The ILIFE EASINE W100 comes with a digital display that will give you information about your device. It will show you which mode you’re in and if any maintenance tasks are required.
Additionally, it will show the remaining battery life, so you know how much time you have left to clean.
Maintenance
While maintaining the W100 isn’t fully automatic, it is definitely easier due to the self-cleaning functionality. While the device is on the docking station you can press a button and the EASINE will clean the soft brush rolls. This will use some of your clean water and fill up the dirty water tank.
Additionally, this can leave some water in the docking station. In more humid climates you’ll want to empty the standing water into a sink.
Other maintenance tasks will have to be done manually. Common maintenance tasks are:
- Fill the clean water tank
- Empty/clean dirty water tank
- (Occasionally) clean the brush roll
- Rinse HEPA filter
While there is still some hands-on maintenance required, overall, I am pleased to see the self-cleaning option.
Size & Dimensions
The ILIFE EASINE W100 stands tall similarly to a stick vacuum. However, it is a little bulkier due to the added mopping functionality. The water tanks and heavier cleaning head make the device feel heavier overall.
Here are the exact dimensions:
- Height: 46.1”
- Width: 11.0”
- Length: 9.8”
- Weight: 9.3 lbs.

Should you buy the ILIFE EASINE W100?
I would recommend the ILIFE EASINE W100 if you’re looking for the following features:
- Self-cleaning brushrolls: One of the most exciting features on the W100 is its ability to self-clean. This reduces overall maintenance of the device, leaving the user with more time for other activities. While maintaining the device isn’t completely automatic, the self-cleaning brushrolls, in tandem with other easy maintenance tasks, makes the EASINE an easy device to keep running like new.
- Solid cleaning performance: The ILIFE EASINE W100 had great performance during our cleaning tests. It was able to remove small debris with ease and the different power modes were able to remove dirt from our floor. It has the power of a dedicated mop, with some vacuuming functionality.
- Easy to use: The EASINE W100 is as easy to maneuver as it is to set up. Getting the device up and running out of the box took me 5 minutes. The W100 was easy to move around corners, low-height areas, and during general cleaning.
