We recently tested the Samsung Jet 75 cordless stick vacuum. It comes with a variety of cleaning tools and accessories, but how well does it clean? Let’s find out.

The Samsung Jet 75 is a cordless stick vacuum that comes with 2 different cleaning heads (multi-surface and soft brushroll) and various accessories that improve the cleaning experience. The 200 AW of suction power showed excellent cleaning performance during our test, with a 99.3% removal of all debris. It has a lightweight design that can take tight corners and even lay almost completely flat to the ground. It comes with a click-in battery that ran for 44:19 minutes during our runtime test.

The Samsung Jet 75 is a stick vacuum that showcased excellent cleaning performance in our tests. Our testing showed it had 99.3% debris removal across all 3 floor types. Whether it was debris, long strands of hair, or even pet fur, the Jet 75 was able to remove the majority of it. Performance Tests
To test the Jet 75, we put it through a series of 6 different performance tests that helps us measure cleaning performance and usability.
These tests include:

Cleaning Test
For our cleaning test, we place 4 different debris types (sugar, kitty litter, rice, and cereal) on 3 different floor types (hardwood, low pile carpet, and high pile carpet) and run the vacuum over, cleaning up the debris.
We then measure how much debris was removed by weight to determine performance.
In these tests, we ran the Samsung Jet 75 on the maximum power with either the Turbo Action Brush (standard multi-surface brushroll) or Soft Action Brush (soft brushroll).

Across the board, the Samsung Jet 75 did a fantastic job. In most cases, it was able to remove the majority of the debris. However, we did notice that the vacuum had trouble with larger debris types.
When cleaning up cereal too quickly, it would cause clogging and spit the cereal back on the floor after turning the vacuum off.
We were able to remedy the problem by cleaning up the cereal slowly, only sucking up a few pieces at a time.

As mentioned previously, we did experience clogging when vacuuming cereal. It is important to move slowly over the debris in order to avoid this problem.
Low Pile Carpet
The Jet 75 performed well on low pile carpet as well. It was able to remove 98.8% of total debris across all floor types.

Long Hair Test
To test how well the Samsung Jet 75 manages long strands of hair, we place strands on hair in the direct cleaning path of the vacuum and run the vacuum over it. We then checked to see how much was removed from the floor, and if any hair was tangled in the brushroll.

The Jet 75 was able to easily remove all of the long strands of hair from the floor. However, a good portion of the hair remained tangled in the brushroll. Luckily this was easy to fix.
When you remove the brushroll from the cleaning head, you can slide off the tangled hair without too much trouble.
If you would rather not deal with tangles as much, you can switch to the mini motorized tool. Its brushroll is designed to tangle less and manage longer hair.
Pet Hair Test
For our pet hair test, we lay pet fur on high pile carpet in the direct cleaning path of the vacuum. We ran the Samsung Jet 75 on maximum power and used the standard Turbo Action Brush. After the test, we checked to see if any pet hair remained nestled in the carpet.
The Jet 75 had excellent pet hair cleaning performance. The Turbo Action Brush was able to agitate the carpet and collect the majority of the pet fur. I only noticed a few strands of pet hair remaining after cleaning.
Runtime Test
To test the runtime of the Samsung Jet 75, we fully charge the battery and then run it continuously until the battery is dead and the vacuum turns off. Here are the results:

All of our run time tests were conducted with the Turbo Action Brush attached. Samsung states the Jet 75 can run on low power for up to 60 minutes.
Their estimate is based on the vacuum running on low power without a powered attachment. If you are looking for a longer runtime, additional batteries can be purchased.

To test noise, we run the vacuum on each mode and measure the decibels generated with a sound meter from about 3’ away.

Our testing showed the decibel range to be between 51-57 dB. This level of noise is similar to the hum of a refrigerator or moderate rainfall.

Usability for the Samsung Jet 75 was fantastic. It is easy to set up, use, and keep running like new. It comes with different tools and accessories that attach/detach easily. The stick vacuum can lay almost completely flat allowing it to clean under furniture.

Setup
Setting up the Samsung Jet 75 is easy. Simply remove the packaging, charge the battery, and attach the desired tools/cleaning heads.
Additional setup is required if you wish to use the wall mount. While the screws and anchors are included, tools are necessary to install the wall mount.
Controls
The Samsung Jet 75 uses buttons to control the device. There are 3 buttons, 1 to turn on the device, and the other 2 to change the power mode. These buttons are easy to use, especially with the inclusion of the display.
The display is simple, but gives basic information about the Jet 75. It can display:
- Remaining battery life
- Current power mode
- Troubleshooting symbols
The troubleshooting symbols can notify you if there is any clogging in the vacuum, if the brushroll is stuck, or if there is no filter in the device.
Maintenance
In terms of maintenance, the Jet 75 is easy to take care of. Different maintenance tasks required to keep the Samsung Jet 75 running like new include:

- Clean/wash the cyclone

- Clean accessories
These tasks are easy to do as the pieces detach/attach quickly and most of the parts are washable.
The mechanism to remove the dustbin takes a bit to get used to, but otherwise maintenance for the Jet 75 is great.

For a standard cleaning attachment, Samsung included the Turbo Action Brush with the Jet 75. This accessory is the most versatile and can be used in the majority of situations.
When cleaning hardwood or other hard surfaces, you can use the Soft Action Brush. It utilizes a soft brushroll, which we used in our hardwood floor tests. In our tests it had a 100% debris removal score, which is fantastic.
The mini motorized tool is great for smaller areas too tight for the turbo action brush. Additionally, the brushroll is designed to avoid hair getting tangled around it.
The Jet 75 is the first of Samsung’s Jet series to include the Flexible tool. This tool can bend into a variety of angles and allows you to clean in hard to reach places.
The Samsung Jet 75 comes with your standard cleaning accessories, the combination tool and extension crevice tool. The crevice tool can be extended, which is great for those deep couch cushions.
Finally, the wall mount is a simple charging base that can store a few accessories. It can store the main vacuum while charging the battery simultaneously, which is convenient for quick on the go cleaning.

I would recommend the Samsung Jet 75 stick vacuum if you are looking for the following features:
- Fantastic cleaning performance: In our testing the Jet 75 was able to remove 99.3% of all debris across all floor types. That is fantastic performance across all 3 floor types we tested it on. While the cereal clogging presented a real issue, a little patience showed the Samsung Jet 75 can tackle the majority of messes.
