Luxury accessories at a reasonable Price

Vincero Rogue and Villa

Vincero Collective

We tested the Rogue watch and Villa sunglasses from Vincero. The Rogue was comfortable to wear throughout the day. I loved the way the watch looks especially with the black on black color scheme. The Villa sunglasses, in similar fashion, are also an attractive accessory. The half-framed lenses and other design choices give the Villa a sporty and clean aesthetic. While they weren’t perfect, the quality and performance for the price point makes them both solid options.

Pros

  • Luxury feel, while being quite reasonably priced
  • Sharp modern aesthetic across the entire product line
  • Fast worldwide shipping

Cons

  • No true sport frame is offered in their sunglasses collection
  • Specific on the warranty are fairly limited

The Villa sunglasses and Rogue watch are designed to be comfortable to wear, while providing a modern aesthetic. The timeless look makes these accessories easy to wear with various styles of clothing, or in diverse settings. The Vincero Collective

The Vincero Collective is aiming to make luxury accessories at a reasonable price. Vincero believes that the middle ground of the watch market was missing and they aimed to fix that.

“Our goal was to deliver the middle ground we believed was missing. Solid, well-made products delivered at an unrivaled value.”

They started with watches, but slowly expanded their collection to include other watch accessories, glasses, and jewelry. They offer a variety of style and color choices for the various types of products they produce.

While they have a lot of options to choose from, we were able to get our hands on the Villa sunglasses and the Rogue watch. Below is our review of the Rogue and Villa.

The Rogue

We got to test the black on black Rogue watch. I loved the way it looked on my wrist. First, let’s check out the design of the watch.

The Design

The Rogue watch has a modern design that is meant to be worn at a variety of occasions.

I normally don’t wear watches, so I was worried that wearing the watch would be cumbersome. However, the materials and quality of the watch felt fantastic on my wrist.

The Materials

Let’s take a look at the materials the Rogue is made of below:

  • Glass: Sapphire Crystal
  • Body: Stainless Steel
  • Strap: Silicone

The materials used feel high-quality and built to last. It has a good weight to the body when it rests on your wrist. Equally as important, is that the silicone strap is lightweight, and holds in place once the correct size is set.

The materials look good paired with the black on black color of the Rogue watch I tested. However, if black on black isn’t your preferred color the watch comes in other colors as well.

Here are the options you can choose from:

  • Gunmetal/Red
  • Rose Gold/White
  • Black/Rose Gold
  • Brushed Silver
  • Black/Sunray Blue
  • Black/Gold
  • Silver/Cobalt
  • Silver and Black

Using the Rogue

I was able to test the black on black Rogue and I loved the design. The watch looks fantastic and the color scheme gives the watch a modern and sporty aesthetic.

The face of the watch has the second, minute, and hour hands, a 60 minute timer, a 60 second timer hand, and a 24 hour hand.

The body of the watch has the crown for setting the time and date, and two buttons that are used for starting and stopping the timers.

I personally felt like it would be a watch I would wear at fancier functions, however, the sporty design of the watch leads me to believe that many people would be comfortable wearing the watch more casually.

Altogether, the weight of the body of the watch does not seem suitable for athletic activity. However, that would be up to personal preference.

Pros

  • Comfortable to wear, with a good weight to the watch
  • High quality materials
  • Excellent color scheme and a look that could fit various settings

Cons

  • The heavy weight may not suitable for athletic activities.

Features

  • Seiko Mecha-Quartz movement
  • Water Resistant up to 10 ATM (100 meters)
  • Scratch resistant glass and body
  • Interchangeable straps per your preference

Set-up

Setting up the watch was a simple process out of the box. First, you remove the protective plastic and pull the crown to the 3rd position. This is how you set the time. Next, you can set it to the second position to set the date, and finally the 1st position to lock those selections in.

In order to use the stopwatch you will use the two buttons. To start and stop the timers press the top button, and press the bottom button to reset them. For additional information on setting up the watch and using it visit here.

The Villa

We also got to test the Villa sunglasses from Vincero. Let’s start with the design.

The Design

The Villa sunglasses have a clean, sharp look.

I’ve worn a pair of Oakly flak jacket polarized sunglasses as my daily driver for the last decade, but I really liked the look of Vincero’s Villa sunglasses. The matte black color and restrained frames give it a timeless look fit for any occasion.

The Materials

Here are the materials the Villa sunglasses are constructed from:

  • Frame: Cellulose Acetate
  • Lens: CR-39 Polarized Lenses

The materials are simple and good quality, and as a result the sunglasses reflect that simple and sleek look in their design.

The lenses have a reflective finish that helps create a sporty aesthetic. Additionally, the frames cover only a section of the lenses and that helps complete that sporty and modern design.

The matte black color is a look I always enjoy, but the glasses do come in other colors if you prefer.

Here are the options Vincero has:

  • Black Smoke/Silver
  • Matte Black
  • Barrel Tortoise/Gold
  • Jet Black/Gold
  • Whisky Tortoise/Gold

Using the Villa Sunglasses

The frames feel nice resting on the head, and have a decent level of stretch to them. I have a slightly larger head than average, so the frames applied a little more pressure than I would prefer.

Despite that, they felt comfortable throughout the day during the test by the poolside I performed. I did not feel the frames were creating undue pressure and they were comfortable throughout the day.

Regarding sun protection, I would say the lens design is good, but not great. The Cr-39 polarized lenses offer 100% UVA/UVB protection, which is great. At the same time, the shape of the lens allows more light than I am used to.

Like I mentioned previously, I have been wearing Oakly flak jacket sunglasses for a decade. The design allows the glasses to sit more closely on my face, creating a better seal and less of a gap that light is able to get through.

In addition, the lens size is simply larger and wraps slightly around the side of the eye for better protection. During my all day pool test of the Vincero Villa, I was in direct sunlight and wished I had better lens coverage.

We performed our tests in Phoenix, Arizona and here we get bright and hot sunshine all year long. Having the best possible protection is important to me.

Even though the lenses let more light in, the design and aesthetic combined with the frames was something I really liked. Additionally, the lenses did not restrict my vision, the image through them was sharp and clear.

Pros

  • Good quality materials that feel great to wear
  • Sharp and clear lenses with 100% UVA/UVB protection
  • A sporty and modern aesthetic that could be worn for a variety of occasions.

Cons

  • The shape of the lenses does not offer complete protection from the sunlight.

Features

  • Cr-39 Polarized Lenses (100% UVA/UVB protection)
  • Marble Inlays
  • 5 Barrel Hinges

Size & Weight

  • Size: 53/19 – 145mm
  • Weight: 1.1 oz (31.32 g)

Are the Rogue and Villa Good Value?

The Vincero Collective offers a stylish set of clothing accessories, and tries to do it at a reasonable price. Consequently, the Rogue and Villa offer a good design at prices that match their design.

The Rogue

This watch was comfortable to wear and made of good quality materials. Luxury watches can climb in price quickly, but the Rogue is a good entry point for those starting to get into luxury watches. Or a cheaper alternative that still looks good.

The Villa

While the lens did not offer the sun coverage I prefer, the quality of the materials and the design are still something I enjoyed. If you were looking to upgrade your glasses while not getting too pricey, these would be a great choice for their price.

Both of these options include free shipping worldwide, a 1-year period to return for a refund (excluding processing fees), and a 5-year manufacturers’ warranty.

Both of these products are priced reasonably well for someone looking to get into luxury accessories.

While the Villa and Rogue are marketed towards men, Vincero has a variety of options for both men and women.

Should You Buy the Rogue or Villa?

If you are looking for a cheaper alternative to luxury watches or glasses, or if you are looking to upgrade your cheaper watch/glasses to something better quality, these would be a great choice.
