Best For
- One-stop shop for vacuum / mop cleaning system
- A wide variety of attachments that fit multiple cleaning needs
- App connectivity offers additional system performance information.
- Large clean / dirty water tanks for extended cleaning sessions
Considerations
- The vacuum collection bin is small and will require frequent emptying.
- Fragile metal power connection pins between attachments.
Our Verdict
The Roborock Dyad Pro Combo is the latest addition to the Dyad series. This is the first model that features both a wet dry mopping system and a vacuum attachment all in one. It comes with a wide range of attachments and functionality, making the Dyad Pro Combo an excellent total home cleaning solution. It received exceptional cleaning performance as a wet dry mop, and very good cleaning performance with the vacuum attachment.
A potential major issue we found during testing was the connection points between the attachments. These connection points were exposed metal pins that could be prone to damage from repeated use. We recommend paying close attention when swapping attachments to avoid bad connections and / or damage to these pins.

Cleaning Performance
The Roborock Dyad Pro Combo had exceptional cleaning performance between its handheld stick vacuum, and the wet dry vacuuming. We observed its multi-roller head wet dry cleaning system effortlessly capture debris during our testing. In addition, the handheld vacuum attachment offered excellent suction power to remove small debris across all testing surfaces.

Debris Test
To test the debris removal performance of the Roborock Dyad Pro Combo, we put it through a series of vacuum cleaning tests.

We measure 0.5 oz. of each debris type, laying it in rows on the floor for the vacuum to clean. Next, we run the Roborock Dyad Pro Combo over the debris on the highest suction and with a single forward and backward pass. After, we measure how much of the debris remains by weight and compare it to the starting amounts to determine cleaning performance.
Here are the results for the stick vacuum Roborock Dyad Pro Combo:
Overall

Low Carpet
86.8%
High Carpet
94.9%
In our debris test, the Roborock Dyad Pro Combo – vacuum was able to remove 89.1% of debris by weight. This is 6.8% less debris than the average of 95.9%, based on all of our debris tests to date.
Wet Cleaning Test
To test how well the Roborock Dyad Pro Combo mops on a broad scale, we perform a full clean of our office and studio space (~1,000 sq. ft.). After cleaning, we emptied the dirty water tank and observed how much dirt and debris was removed.
In our mop test, the Roborock Dyad Pro Combo showcased exceptional performance. On average, based on all the wet dry vacuums we’ve tested to date, we find they have excellent performance. The Roborock Dyad Pro Combo exceeded the average and outperformed our expectations. While we observed the mopping heads collect debris and dirt off the floors, we didn’t truly realize how much it was collected until it was time to empty.
Stain Test
For our stain test, we test to see how the Roborock Dyad Pro Combo is able to remove a dried-on stain. For this test, we stain a piece of tile flooring with grape juice, allowing it to dry. We then run the wet-dry vacuum over the stain on the highest moisture and suction mode available.
The Roborock Dyad Pro Combo was able to remove our testing stain. It took several passes i(16 to be exact) in order to completely remove the stain. We noticed immediately the rollers going to work on the stain removing small amounts after each pass. While most liquid spills would be mopped up right away, it is reassuring to know that the Roborock Dyad Pro Combo can handle the overnight stains.
Edge Cleaning Test
For our edge cleaning test, we test to see how close the Roborock Dyad Pro Combo is able to clean walls, baseboards, and the perimeter of the room. To test this, we place 0.5 oz. of debris (sugar, kitty litter, and rice) directly along the edge of the wall, extending out 4.0″ from the wall.
We then run the vacuum and the cleaning head over the debris, as close to the edge of the wall as possible, with a single forward and backward pass. Next we measure, in inches, how close the vacuum was able to clean to the wall and how much of the debris remained by weight.

In our edge cleaning tests with the mopping head, the Roborock Dyad Pro Combo was able to remove 98.0% of debris by weight. This is 4.6% more debris than the average of 93.4%, based on all of our wet dry mop edge cleaning tests to date.

Both the mopping head and vacuum cleaning head removed a significant amount of debris during the edge cleaning test.
Dry Cleaning Test
For the hardwood floor tests, we tested both the vacuum capabilities and the wet dry mopping abilities.

For the wet dry hardwood mopping tests, the Roborock Dyad Pro Combo was able to remove 98.8% of debris by weight. This is 13.3% more/less debris than the average of 85.5%, based on all of our wet dry mop debris tests to date.

Here are the results for the stick vacuum Roborock Dyad Pro Combo:

In our hardwood tests, the Roborock Dyad Pro Combo with its vacuum attachment was able to remove 85.8% of debris by weight. This is 6.4% less debris than the average of 92.2%, based on all of our stick vacuum debris tests to date.

The most notable issue we saw with the debris for the vacuum were the cheerios. The cleaning head struggled to capture the cheerios into the roller for collection. We attribute this struggle to the low clearance and lower friction of the roller head, which pushed the cereal around the floor instead of grabbing onto it and picking it up.
Low Pile Carpet Test
For the low pile carpet, we only tested the stick vacuum option of the Dyad Pro Combo as the wet dry mop is not meant for carpet.

In our low pile carpet tests, the Roborock Dyad Pro Combo was able to remove 86.8% of debris by weight. This is 9.8% less debris than the average of 96.4%, based on all of our debris tests to date.

We saw a similar issue on the low pile carpet as we did with the hardwood flooring, pushing the Cheerios around.
High Pile Carpet Test
Of the two carpets types we tested, the Dyad Pro Combo was able to collect more debris on the high pile carpet.
Sugar
95.2%
Kitty Litter
98.2%
Rice

In our high pile carpet tests, the Roborock Dyad Pro Combo was able to remove 94.9% of debris by weight. This is 2.4% lower than the average of 97.3%, based on all of our debris tests to date.

The Roborock Dyad Pro Combo was able to create a stronger seal / suction with the carpet, which resulted in collecting more debris on this carpet type. Additionally, the rougher surface of the carpet allowed the cleaning head to get on top of the cereal, thereby removing more on low pile carpet than on the other floor types.
Long Hair Test
To test how well the Roborock Dyad Pro Combo vacuum manages long hair and avoids tangles, we pit it against 1.0 grams of long hair. We lay the strands of hair on hardwood flooring and run the vacuum over it on the maximum suction power with a single forward and backward pass. After cleaning, we check the floor for hair and the brushroll for tangles. This test is only performed on the stick vacuum version of the Pro Combo.
Amount Removed

In our long hair tests, the Roborock Dyad Pro Combo had 28.0% hair by weight tangled in the roller. This is 13.7% more hair tangled than the average of 14.3%, based on all of our long hair tests to date.

While the vacuum did an exceptional job removing the long hair from the hardwood surface, it had a high amount of hair tangled around the roller. Fortunately, removing the hair was easy and took no more than 1 minute to clear. It was easy enough to remove with my hands and additional tool were not required.
Pet Hair Test
For our pet hair test, we embed 1.0 grams of pet hair into high pile carpet. Next, we run the vacuum over the carpet with a single forward and backward pass on the highest suction power. Finally, we measure the amount of remaining pet hair in the carpet and compare it to the starting amount to determine performance.
Amount Removed
100%
Amount Tangled
0.0%
In our pet hair tests, the Roborock Dyad Pro Combo removed 100% by weight. This is 0.8% more pet hair removed than the average of 99.2%, based on all of our pet hair tests to date.

The only issue we found while vacuuming the pet hair was the small collection bin. After we had vacuumed the testing field, we noticed the bin was full, and the system sounded like it was struggling to maintain full suction with all the hair. This would result in more trips to the trash can for emptying the bin.
Crevice Cleaning Test
To test the crevice cleaning capability of the Roborock Dyad Pro Combo we use a specially built cleaning lane that has 3 distinct crevices of varying depths. We fill the crevices with 0.075 oz. (shallow) / 0.10 oz. (medium) / 0.150 oz. (deep) of sugar and run the vacuum over each crevice on the highest suction power with a single forward and backward pass. Finally, we measure the amount of debris remaining by weight.
Here are the results for the stick vacuum Roborock Dyad Pro Combo:
Amount Removed – Shallow
100%
Amount Removed – Mid
99.0%
Amount Removed – Deep
89.3%

In our crevice tests for the vacuum attachment, the Roborock Dyad Pro Combo was able to remove 89.3% of debris by weight from the deepest crevice. This is 6.6% less debris than the average of 95.6%, based on all of our stick vacuum crevice tests to date.
Here are the overall results for the wet dry mopping Roborock Dyad Pro Combo:
Amount Removed – Shallow
98.7%
Amount Removed – Mid
85.0%
Amount Removed – Deep
71.3%

For our crevice tests with the mopping head, the Roborock Dyad Pro Combo was able to remove 71.3% of debris by weight from the deepest crevice. This is 8.0% more debris than the average of 63.0%, based on all of our wet dry mop crevice tests to date.
This test can be difficult for the wet dry mopping combo due to the depth of the crevice. However, the Dyad Pro Combo had excellent performance when compared to other wet dry mopping combos with its suction and 3 rolling brushrolls.
Sealed System Test
For the sealed system test, we want to determine how well the entire vacuum system is sealed. Vacuums that are fully sealed ensure that dust and debris vacuumed stays inside the vacuum. Vacuums that are not fully sealed may spread dust and debris around your home.
To test this, we set up a fog machine and place the tube of the vacuum directly in front of the output nozzle. We then turn the vacuum on and release short bursts of smoke into the vacuum, checking how well the device is sealed.
The sealed system test showed the Roborock Dyad Pro Combo was fully sealed. The average vacuum we test is Fully Sealed, with only 3 we have tested rated as partially sealed.
The Roborock Dyad Pro Combo has an interesting response to the sealed system test. Once we turned the vacuum attachment on and began to suction the smoke, the Dyad Pro Combo acted like there was a blockage in the filter / dust bin. It sucked in the smoke, then began to push the smoke back out. This did not affect our rating in this test as the system still maintained its seal. Before the test concluded, the system shut off, we believe as a safety prevention feature.
Build Quality Test
Our build quality test is a subjective test where we examine and assess the major material and design components of the wet dry vacuum. Specifically, we are looking for build and design issues that are more likely to break and/or be difficult to use.

The Roborock Dyad Pro Combo has an exceptional build quality to the wet dry mop and vacuum combo. The entire ecosystem of accessories for the Dyad Pro combo is designed for a true one-stop cleaning solution. The body is constructed from sturdy and thick plastic that, during testing, showed little signs of fragility.
Part | Build Quality |
---|---|
Overall | Exceptional |
Body | Exceptional |
Water Tanks | Exceptional |
Display / Controls | Exceptional |
Cleaning Head | Exceptional |
Accessories | Exceptional |
Docking Station | Excellent |
However, we did notice one build quality concern that would render your system inoperable if broken. These are the power connection pins between the different attachments. Some are exposed and require precise line-ups when attaching different attachments. If any of these pins are damaged, it could cause operating problems.
Run Time Test
For our run time test, we fully charge the battery of the Roborock Dyad Pro Combo and run it on a single power mode until the battery is empty. We measure with a stopwatch how long this charge lasts and repeat these tests for each power mode available. Note: we leave the extension wand and standard cleaning head attached for this test.
Here are the results for wet dry vacuum Roborock Dyad Pro Combo:
Eco Mode
44:33
Max
23:43
In our runtime tests, the Roborock Dyad Pro Combo had a run time of 44 minutes 43 seconds on the lowest power mode.
Here are the results for the stick vacuum Roborock Dyad Pro Combo:
Auto
47:12
Max
33:33
In our runtime tests, the Roborock Dyad Pro Combo had a run time of 47 mintues and 12 seconds on the lowest power mode.

According to Roborocks website, the Roborock Dyad Pro Combo’s mopping mode offers 43 min runtime with the vacuum running for 60 mins.
Noise Test
Wet dry vacuums can be fairly loud while in operation. To measure how loud, we run them on hardwood flooring on each power mode and measure the noise generated with a sound meter. Before the test, we take a measurement of the ambient noise in the room to use as a baseline comparison to the wet dry vacuums.
Power Level | Noise Level |
---|---|
Ambient | 40.0 dB |
Floor Drying | 71.2 dB |
Eco | 74.1 dB |
Auto | 76.4 dB |
Max | 79.0 dB |
In our noise tests, the Roborock Dyad Pro Combo generated 79.0 dB of noise at the max wet dry mopping speed. This is 9.0 dB louder than the average of 70.0 dB, based on all of our wet dry mop noise tests to date.
With the vacuum attachment, the Roborock Dyad Pro Combo generated 82.9 dB of noise at the max speed. This is 7.34 dB louder than the average of 75.56 dB, based on all of our stick vacuum noise tests to date.
While both the wet dry mode and vacuum attachment were louder than the average, in our opinion, the clean performance makes up for the louder noise.
Usability
The Dyad Pro Combo has exceptional usability with its powerful wet dry mop, and handheld stick vacuum. Swapping between the two modes offers a wide variety of functionality for at-home cleaning. The 3 head mopping roller, large clean / dirty tanks, and long runtime give the user more than enough power to mop a medium to large size home.
Setup
Setup was a bit overwhelming with the number of attachments and parts that arrived in the box. However, it took no more than 10 minutes for me to organize all the attachments and get the Roborock Dyad Pro Combo ready to start cleaning. The vacuum did arrive with a 65% charged battery, so make sure to fully charge the device before first use.
Accessories
The Roborock Dyad Pro Combo includes 4 accessories / attachments.

Multi-Surface Brush – This is a multi-surface cleaning head attachment designed for hard surfaces and carpets.

Motorized Mini-Brush – This attachment is designed for compact or hard-to-reach cleaning areas.

Crevice Tool / Dusting Brush – Designed to slide into hard-to-reach places like in between couch cushions, behind furniture, and even comes with a dusting brush.

Wet Dry Vacuum – This attachment is the wet dry mopping head designed to mop hard surface floors and capture small debris.
Maneuverability
For our maneuverability tests, we check to see how easy it is use maneuver the wet dry vacuums while cleaning. We focus on 3 key factors: can it lay down flat, how well can it turn, and how much does it weigh?

In our maneuverability tests for the wet dry mopping, the Roborock Dyad Pro Combo could not lay flat but had excellent turning ability. On average, wet dry mopping vacuums we test cannot lay flat and have excellent turning ability.

The wet dry mopping tool was the most restrictive in terms of maneuverability. Because of the tanks on the top and back, it restricts how far the system as a whole can lay down and access low clearance cleaning locations. This had no effect on performance or our ability to clean the lab.
